Le Lumiere'

In this image I am working with the light and atmosphere around one candle light. I had just finished another painting “Luminous Passage” which had been painted by candle light (due to a power outage). In that painting I was working with multiple candle lights moving in space through the darkness.  I was fascinated by the way the light bounced and flickered as I painted.
